‘ASHAJYOTI is a non-governmental organization dedicated to the holistic development of persons with disabilities and the socio-economic progress of society at large. In 2011, Sishu Sarothi of Guwahati embarked on a project for an early intervention center for children with disabilities, in collaboration with CRY. However, by 2013, the project came to a close. Encouraged by some of guardians, and friends, we decided to persist and formally registered as Ashajyoti under the Societies Registration Act of 1860 to continue the center. Our journey has been marked by unwavering dedication and leadership from dynamic youth, notably Mr. Jiaur Rahman and Mr. Jogendra Bania. Our primary goal is to create a society where every individual, regardless of their caste, creed, religion, or race, can access essential amenities and lead a life of dignity.

Our Reach Extends To Almost 65 Villages In The Darrang District And Some Parts Of Udalguri District. We Strive To Make A Positive Impact In The Lives Of The Most Marginalized And Underserved Populations And Children With Disabilities.
We Manage A Library That Provides Valuable Resources For Personal And Educational Development, Promoting A Culture Of Lifelong Learning.
In Times Of Natural Calamities, We Stand By Our Rural Communities By Providing Much-Needed Relief Materials, Ensuring Their Well-Being During Challenging Times.
